Occasionally, I see a something that might be interesting on the side of the road and just ride by because there are lots of miles to go and I don’t want to slow down. And occasionally, I turn around and ride back to sneak a peek and take some photos because the whole point of traveling and bike touring is to explore and see new things.  As you might have guessed, I rode pass and then turned around to check out the bizarre little chapel on the side of Highway 1. It’s hardly a great cathedral like you’d see in Europe, but its design, stained glass, wood and stones made it a nice place to relax and spend a few minutes.
